Sanitation installations and gas installations in the supermarket

This master’s thesis deals with the overall sanitary and gas pipeline installation in a supermarket. The theoretical part deals with equipment and requirements for large kitchens with regard to the food preparation in this building. The computing and design part deals with the sewerage, water supply and gas distribution in the supermarket. The property counts over six thousand square meters and is partly two-storeyed. There are also several smaller sales units in addition to the sales areas, facility for staff and warehouses. The diploma thesis is based on current Czech and European regulations.

Heating historic building alternative fuels

The introduction of theoretical part deals with issue of fuel. There are basic kinds of fuels, their properties and calorific values. In next part a summary of types of boilers depending on the kind of fuel is described. A process of burning in each type is discussed. Then the basic issue of heat transmission, heat losses and design of individual elements of central heating system is described. In the second part there are two studies compared to each other. In the first one an automatic pellet boiler is used as a source of energy and in the second one it’s a heat pump, type air-water. At the end both of the variants are reviewed and the better option is chosen. In the last part the better option is designed, into detailed design documentation. Important design values for using the heating system and hot water service are calculated.

The Bachelor thesis deals with drainage of domestic waste water and rainwater, water supply system and gas main in a school addition. The facility in question is a two storey building without basement. The theoretical part deals with pipe mounting. The technical part of the thesis addresses the sanitary installation and gas installation in a school addition.

Energy Performance of Domestic Hot Water Preparation

Master’s thesis on Energy performance of domestic hot water preparation is concerned with calculating and comparing the energy performance of domestic hot water preparation in two-generation family house with an administrative part. Energy performance of domestic hot water preparation is calculated by two calculation methods and by experimental measurements, which are compared at the end of the thesis. The calculation is performed according to standard ČSN 06 0320 and set of standards ČSN EN 15316-3. Thesis is processed in accordance with valid legislative regulations.

Heating of Apartment Building

In my bachelor thesis I propose heating and the preparation of hot water in an apartment building in Most. It is a renovated brick house with free floors. In the calculation I deal with the design of heating surfaces, distribution of hot water, hot water preparation and the sources of heat. I designed panel and tubular radiators and floor convectors for the bulding. Hot water, two pipe and symmetric distribution. The house will use the central system of hot water preparation. I selected a separated preparation of hot water for the production of untility hot water and hot water for heating. There will be two boilers installed in the house - a condensing and a low-temperature one. The condensing boiler will serve to prepare hot water for heating and the low temperature boiler for the preparation of hot utility water. The theoretical part will focus on the issue of regulation.

Energy assessment of buildings

The master’s thesis deals with energy assessment of buildings according to a current valid legislature. In the first part the energy assessments problems are solved. The next part solves the energy concept of the educational building, Pavilion P4, AdMaS centre of Faculty of Civil Engineering of BUT, in the form of project documentation. In the part of thesis there is a simulation characterizing dynamic behavior of building. The thesis point is the evaluation of energy balance and a draft of measures leading to the power consumption decrease.

Sanitation installation and gas installations in the hotel

This Diploma Thesis presents a project focused on the installation of utilities consisting of fresh and hot water distribution, gas plumbing, and waste or sewage piping within the building along with their connection to a public network. The building is located in the village of Ratmerice and is intended as a hotel with a restaurant. In addition, the document presents different options for hot water preparation and distribution, along with an assessment of the advantages and disadvantages of the different systems available. A comparative analysis based on various criteria is carried out to determine the optimal solution for the specific characteristics of the building, its intended use, and the availability of public servi-ces in the given location.

Project part focuses on the design and solvingplumbing and gas installations. Part of the thesis are the total property assessmentsand literature review focused on the issue of hot water.

In my thesis, i prepare proposals for heating and hot water in a shelter in the Havirov city. It is a renovated brick building that has two floors. The property also adjacent kitchen with workshop. In the calculation deals with the proposal of heating surfaces, plumbing, heating water and heat. I object to proposed plate radiators and pipe. Distribution of hot-water, two-pipe, symmetrical. I opted for the joint preparation of heating water for the production of domestic hot water heating and water heating. The heat source is a cascade of two heat pumps. In the theoretical part I focus on heat pumps.
